Add Admin to Website Instructions

Welcome Aboard! Below are the instructions to add me as an admin to various website hosting platforms.   If you are confused as to which instructions to follow please refer back to your onboarding email. And don't hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or issues!

Instructions to Add to Shopify 

  1. From your Shopify admin, click Settings > Users and permissions.

  2. Click Add staff.

  3. Enter the staff members's full name as it is displayed on any government-issued ID, and their email address. (Use: Emily Ellen Geisler Riks and 

  4. Do either of the following:

    • Select which permissions you want to give the staff member.

    • To give the staff member all available permissions, select Select all.

    • I recommend selecting all to avoid having to go back in and add more later.

  5. Click Send invite.


Instructions to Add toWix Website

  1. Go to Roles & Permissions in your site's dashboard.

  2. Click Invite People.

  3. Enter for the email. 

  4. Select the checkbox next to the admin role. 

  5. Click Send Invite.

Instructions to Add to Wordpress Website

  • 1. Log in to your WordPress dashboard > Users > Add New

  • 2. Enter your preferred username for the new admin user. 

  • 3. Enter the email address for the user.

  • 4. Enter the first name. - Emily 

  • 5. Enter the last name. - Geisler

  • 6. Enter a website (optional).

  • 7. Change the password (optional).

  • 8. Send the new administrator an email (optional).

  • 9. Change the role to administrator.

  • 10. Click the Add New User button


Instructions to Add to SquareSpace Website

  1. Open the permissions panel and click Invite Contributor.

  2. In the Invite Contributor window, enter the contributor's name and email address. - Emily Geisler and

  3. Switch the toggles to give the contributor permissions based on how they'll contribute. You can give them permissions of all other roles by switching the administrator toggle on, or pick and choose among multiple permissions.

  4. Click Invite to send your invitation.

  5. Your contributor will receive an email invitation asking them to log into their existing Squarespace account or create a new one.


Instructions to Add to GoDaddy Website

  1. Go to your GoDaddy Delegate Access page. You might be prompted to sign in.

  2. In the People who can access my account section, select Invite to Access.

  3. Enter the Name and Email address for the person you're inviting. - Emily Geisler and

  4. Select one of the access levels. If you're not sure what this means, read our explanation of access levels. - Typically Products & Domains is sufficient

  5. Select Invite.
